Alluvion Health Foundation Selected for Rotary Electric's Tardi Gras

This February 24th, Rotary Electric's Tardi Gras Event will be fundraising for the Alluvion Health Foundation, helping the Alluvion Health Foundation in their continuing mission to increase access to autism services for individuals with sensory issues across North Central Montana.

Rotary Electric will host Tardi Gras for the second year, a purposely late Mardi Gras celebration that funds projects dedicated to improving the Great Falls Community. The Rotary Electric Club of Great Falls, established in November 2021, commenced with a mission to build an inclusive engaged community through service, fun, and leadership. In 2022, Tardi Gras raised money for Alliance for Youth to modernize, furnish, and renovate the Fun Room. Tardi Gras is a Mardi Gras-themed event, including music from Soul Funk Collective, New Orleans-themed drinks and hors d'oeuvres, contests, and more!

Tardi Gras will add to the Alluvion Health Foundation's ongoing fundraising efforts for a Mobile Autism Unit. The Mobile Autism Unit will be a clinic on wheels, allowing Alluvion Health to bring autism services to children across North Central Montana who currently suffer from a severe lack of access to autism services. Now, the nearest sites for families in North Central Montana to schedule a comprehensive autism evaluation, an essential part of an official autism diagnosis, are in Billings and Missoula. In addition to the long travel times, these clinics have wait lists of up to two years for a diagnosis, delaying critical treatment that allows children with autism to meet their highest potential. Once developed, the Alluvion Health Mobile Autism Clinic will address these issues, improving the lives of children across North Central Montana.
